The sooner we hear from you, the quicker we can create a plan to service your tuna!

How does the consignment process work?

The key to getting the top value for your catch is prompt, professional care and preparation, with minimal handling.

Per NOAA regulations, we can only accept Atlantic bluefin tuna that are greater than 73” long.

When the fish arrives at the dock, it is immediately tagged and the dressing process begins. One of our experienced crew members will grade the fish by taking a tail cut and a core sample. We then skillfully dress the fish for optimal presentation at market. Once the fish has been tagged and weighed you will receive a slip with the tag number and weight. At this time we will need your permit information if we have not already received it.

We are unable to accept fish from anyone who cannot provide proof of all necessary permits.

Our expertise allows us to quickly determine the best market and buyer for your catch so that it can be shipped promptly.

We are committed to cost transparency.

You can expect payment once all costs have settled. This takes roughly one week. You will receive a detailed settlement upon payment.
